Sam Klein.

Born in Baltimore, raised in New Jersey, I started out in the biz interning in Development and Original Programming with Comedy Central in Manhattan, NY. After graduating from Ramapo College of NJ (it's okay, I hadn't heard of it either), then grinding in the NJ/NYC film/tv scene as a PA, I went on to work as a live-on-air graphics operator with ESPN for their coverage of the Australian Open, Wimbledon, and US Open.

That job, and driving my car 2,759 miles West, eventually led me to Tennis Channel in Santa Monica, where I started as an Associate Producer with their Original Programming department. After a few years, I was given the opportunity to write and produce several episodes of their half hour clip show "Best of 5", as well as story produce and field produce several episodes of their programming. Currently, I work on their creative short form content, both branded and non-branded.

I'm an active member of the Producers Guild of America, and write, direct, and produce independent projects for both myself and various clients around the globe. I've written over 1,000 pages of material spanning tv, features, shorts, and a novel, and appreciate comedy, dark comedy, satire, observational humor, drama, and thrillers.

I live in Santa Monica, CA with my wife and cat. I'm an avid traveler, a tennis fan/player, super into ping pong, and, just like you, I can't stand the traffic here, but the weather almost makes it worthwhile. And if you live somewhere with bad weather and bad traffic, I'm sorry.
